Position: Team Member, Internal Audit

JOB OBJECTIVES

Build a strong audit and compliance environment, ensure zero-level fraud, improve value for money, and provide compliance counselling, advisory, and decision-support services for the audit function in the country.

Qualifications and EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two (2) years cognate experience.
Participate in the formulation, design, and revision of the Bank’s corporate audit strategy.
Plan, organise, direct, coordinate, and control the audit activities of the country office.
Ensure adherence and compliance to policy, procedure, and regulatory compliance.
Build a strong KYC-compliant environment for all products and activities.
Continuous improvement in the Bank’s independent Control Standards and techniques
Ensure the integrity and reliability of all transactions as reflected in GL accounts.
Ensure that open items in the GL accounts are current and reflect the true
nature of the products recorded therein
Ensure prompt and qualitative rendition of relevant reports as may be
required by the Country Head of Audit.
Conduct prompt investigations of frauds, disciplinary issues, whistle-blowing cases, and other irregularities that come to the attention of the unit.
Ensure proper control over all products and services given by the Bank.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Country Head, Audit.

Position: IT Audit Officer

JOB OBJECTIVES

Assist in the implementation of the Internal Audit’s mandate for the review and assessment of the bank’s controls on its IT and Digital Banking information systems.

Qualifications and EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a bachelor's degree or HND in Computer science or engineering relevant professional certification, e.g., CISA, ACA, CISSP, etc.
Minimum of 2 years of banking experience; minimum of 3 years of non-banking but related experience

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the development and revision/update of the annual IT audit strategy and work plan.
Participate in process reviews and redesigns as well as system upgrade and implementation efforts to ensure that appropriate system control considerations are effectively taken on board and implemented.
Monitor the adequacy of security and control built into the bank’s
IT Architecture
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.
Render technical support to other sections in the Internal Audit Department.
